My first comment is to the people ridiculing the documentary itself - do you not realize that it’s a powerful example for parents to be aware of what their child is following online? It’s not enough to limit the time they spend online, but what are they buying into. My other comment is that you never hear any remorse from any of the parents except for Anissa’s father. And those of you who are feeling bad for the two being locked up in “deplorable” conditions: they are both mentally ill and need to be locked up. Do you want them living next door to you?

I lived in the Vistas in Vero Beach. Exact same design, same game rooms, bocci ball, clubhouses, and types of people. I enjoyed it for two years but had to move on. This documentary about Kings Point describes it very accurately!

I remember being in a store shopping, I went by 3 young teenage girls talking and giggling. After I went by and was the other isle over, one of them said: Did you see that cow?? Wow, that really hurt! 5'3" 268 lbs. Hypothyroidism, PCOS, fatty liver, diabetes! Weight loss is very difficult for me. 540 calories a day, I lost 1 pound every 3 days!!

Imagine if your car was messed up and you knew exactly how to fix it, and it was even completely free to fix it, but you just complained about how your broken car was negativity impacting your quality of life instead of just fixing your car. One thing I liked, was that how the parents of that one girl in this documentary, said that she could walk home, and how many people can say that I mean, yes, it's not easy, but let's think about it. Letting your kids walk home is a great form of exercise. So think about it. She's walking home. She's going to have a higher chance of having a high quality life. And a healthy life for that matter.

I agree, when the woman said prevention is cheaper than medicine, it really is. Like you could do physical fitness. You could do PE and that's just preventing all these problems and it's way cheaper than you're buying all these medicines and stuff like that. We need to think about what's good. And we need to make a choice between do we want to do prevention or do we want to do our current path of obesity and have to have all these increasing prices with healthcare. Do we want to do prevention or do we want to do medicine? We need to think about this.

I'll be honest, my school cafeteria was very similar to this. I mean I'd rather have a packed lunch than eat the school lunches at school. Because like those were just disgusting. And that's one thing I know it's like even I had low energy from these School lunches. We need to teach our kids about healthy eating. Eating.

I don't like when parents ask their own kids if they want juice or something like that. Couldn't you give them like water or something healthy or fruits and vegetables like I get it? Kids don't like fruits and vegetables and that's understandable but couldn't you at least figure out a way so that they could eat their vegetables? Say like a cheeseburger salad, or a hamburger salad. Just we need to think about our kids before this is too late. Like water dude, you could give them water as a drink and that's a great way for them to still have energy throughout the day. And it quenches their thirst.

This is a reality that we can change, we just need to think about how we change it. And when to change it before it's too late.
